WWE star Seth Rollins loves to run his mouth, which led to him bragging The Rock “couldn’t lace my boots in the best years of his career.”

Seth Rollins Brags The Rock “Couldn’t Lace My Boots In The Best Years Of His Career”

When it comes to speaking their mind, Seth Rollins is not afraid. We have seen him take countless shots at CM Punk and Roman Reigns over the years.

WrestleMania 40 was supposed to see Rollins defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Punk. After Punk was injured in the Royal Rumble, plans drastically changed.

The Elimination Chamber saw Drew McIntyre outlast everyone else to earn a WrestleMania 40 title shot. He just had to get past Logan Paul, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley and LA Knight.

We have seen Rollins vs McIntyre already, but whatever. I am sure they will deliver again.

When talking with Daily Mail, Rollins went over The Rock. Like with Punk, he did not have many nice words.

“He’s gonna open his mouth, run his mouth, say the same old crap he’s been saying for the last two decades because he can’t come up with any new material,” said Rollins. “Bottom line is, he is an afterthought.”

“This is our story, our era. We’ve built the last decade of WWE.”

“He hasn’t had a match in a decade. […] I’m on a different level right now. I am in my prime.”

“I am operating at a level so high above any level he’s ever operated at. He couldn’t lace my boots in the best years of his career, let alone now.”

It feels like Rollins is shooting here, proving he is not afraid to mince words.

We still do not what role The Rock will play at WrestleMania 40. We could see The Rock & Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & Rollins

Or, The Rock could simply interfere in Reigns vs Rhodes. Although, WWE has strongly hinted at The Rock wrestling.

So, is groundwork being made by WWE for Seth Rollins against The Rock?
