Santino Marella Officially Signs With IMPACT Wrestling

Santino Marella has officially signed with IMPACT Wrestling.

Marella appeared at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view on January 13. There, he revealed that he was IMPACT’s new Director of Authority. He restarted the Digital Media Championship match after Moose cheated to beat Joe Hendry. Hendry then defeated Moose to retain the gold. Marella will temporarily replace Scott D’Amore after Bully Ray attacked the latter on the January 5 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.

IMPACT subsequently announced that Marella signed with the company, but the terms of the deal were not shared.

Marella previously appeared on IMPACT programming in 2017 and 2018. Under the name Anthony Carelli, he also had a guest spot on commentary at IMPACT Sacrifice 2022. IMPACT recently secured the trademark for his name. More information is available here.
