Goldberg: WWE Had Some Japanese Girl Beat My Undefeated Match Streak

Goldberg made an appearance on Tim Green's Nothing Left Unsaid, where he discussed a wide range of topics, including his undefeated streak in WCW, which was broken by WWE star Asuka years ago.

Goldberg referred to her as "some Japanese girl." Asuka set the new record for most consecutive matches undefeated after signing with WWE in 2015 before it was broken by losing to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 34 in 2018. Here are the highlights:

On Asuka breaking the streak:

“Well, a girl beat my winning streak, beat my undefeated streak. I can't even remember. Asuka [he mispronounced it] was her name, some Japanese girl. And they touted her as being the one to have the longest winning streak. It just so happened that that culminated when I got there, right?”

On his friction with Triple H during his first WWE run:

The fact that I didn't get along with Paul Levesque, who is Vince's son-in-law, I think, had everything to do with it when I got there.

On their feud in 2003:

“I think a lot of that between Hunter and myself was real.”
