Wolves defender Nelson Semedo insists they're a good team.

The Portugal international is adamant results will turn for the better after a losing season start.

Semedo told the club's website: We lost some big players, but the team is responding well. We did a good pre-season, but then one coach left, another came in just a couple of days before the season, and he needs time with us.

We like his ideas, he's a good coach and the way he communicates with us is good, so I think he's going to help us a lot.

But we need time to work in this system and we've got to do it while we're competing in the Premier League. It's a harder way to do it, but we have a good team to do it."

On going to Everton this weekend, he also said: It's important because we wanted to start well. We've had two losses now, which were tough games, but we can still start well.

I remember two seasons ago, we didn't start the season bad and we were playing very well, but we didn't get results for the first three games and then were playing for the European spots.

It's still the beginning, it's still early and we can still do a good start. We will get more wins, we will get more points and we will get to where we want to be."
