It seems to be one step forward and three steps back for Chelsea Football Club right now.
After a few decent results, they went and then lost to midtable Championship opposition in Middlesbrough last night in the League Cup semi final first leg.
They now have to put on a good performance if they are to stand a chance of going through to the final, something they have been looking upon as a very important milestone to get to this season and also a route into European football next season.
Things have not been great at all for Mauricio Pochettino and his players so far this season, and one pundit believes he has the answer – to get Chelsea legend John Terry in the dugout, presumably in some sort of coaching role with the first team.
It’s hard to argue this suggestion really from Jamie O’Hara, Terry would certainly make a difference.
As cited on X, O’Hara said: “Why is John Terry not there? Why is he not in the dugout every single game? He’s the best captain Chelsea have ever had. He watches every game. How is he not there at half-time, saying [to the players], ‘are you winding me up?'”
