West Ham boss David Moyes admits qualifying for Europe is their target this season.

The Hammers can go sixth with victory over Fulham on Sunday.

Moyes said: "The goal is to try and be a European side again if we can be.

"That has always been my thoughts, as we've had three years which have been brilliant for us and if we can make it four, it would be fantastic, particularly as we will really miss it when we don't have European football.

"It says a lot that we're at this stage of the season and we're still fighting for a European spot. The players have done really well. We need to show we can go again when it matters.

It's difficult mentally to get back and get the players ready. Physically you need time to recover, debrief and get things out of the way.

"I'm not sure you can ever get used to it, but we've been doing it for three years and we're getting a bit more used to how we need to feel on the day of the game.

"We have a day or two to recover and be ready for the next game, so we'll do our best to be ready for Fulham on Sunday."
