Tottenham are rethinking plans for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp for the January market.
Spurs were prepared to sell the midfield pair in January.
But the Telegraph says a fresh injury setback for Rodrigo Bentancur is forcing a rethink.
With Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma also due to play in the Africa Cup of Nations, midfield numbers will be thin at Spurs in the New Year.
As such, Hojbjerg and Skipp are firming as required players beyond the January market.
