Sheffield United is facing a challenging situation having made the worst start after 10 matches in Premier League history. Former Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood believes that relegation is inevitable for the Blades . He even suggested that top managers like Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola wouldn’t make a significant difference if they were in charge, emphasising the difficulties the team is currently facing.

Sherwood criticised the players for what he sees as them “throwing in the towel,” particularly in their recent match againstArsenal, where they registered just two shots on goal. He also pointed out the lack of support and service for striker Rhian Brewster.

One of the concerning statistics is that no top-flight side has conceded more goals (29) than Sheffield United this season. They are currently five points behind Bournemouth, who are fourth from the bottom, and the pressure on manager Paul Heckingbottom to turn things around is increasing.

“There was not enough fight, organisation or enough of them rolling their sleeves up and wanting to put their foot in. They got what they deserved,” Sherwood exclaimed, as he summarised United’s performance against Arsenal on Sky Sports.

Tim Sherwood joins Paul Merson and Chris Sutton in the list of pundits who already believe the Blades are relegated, far before mathematically confirmed.
