Revolution, Jozy Altidore reportedly agree to three-year deal, pending Toronto FC buyout

One of the faces of multiple United States men's national soccer teams that competed in the World Cup is reportedly on the verge of switching MLS squads.

The New England Revolution and forward Jozy Altidore reportedly agreed to terms on a three-year deal. The move is pending a buyout with Altidore's current team, Toronto FC.

The 32-year-old has 115 games with the USMNT under his belt and was a key contributor on both the 2010 and 2014 World Cup teams. Altidore hasn't played with the national team since 2019.

Altidore joined Toronto in 2015 and earned the 2017 MLS Cup MVP Award with the squad.

The Revolution finished first in the Eastern Conference last season before falling to New York City FC on penalty kicks in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
