Real Sociedad matchwinner Brais Mendez: I've dream of this since I was a child

Brais Mendez was proud proving Real Sociedad's matchwinner at Benfica.

The striker scored the only goal of the game for the 1-0 Champions League win in Portugal.

Mendez later remarked: "The truth is that this is the competition I've dreamed of since I was a child.

"You always dream of playing in it and the start we had was almost perfect."

Mendez also insisted: "I think we deserved to win the first match too, the one against Inter."
