Real Madrid See €60M Chelsea, PSG Target as Top Choice to Improve Defense

The race for LOSC Lille’s Leny Yoro remains a heated one, pitting top European clubs against each other. Paris Saint-Germain want to keep the young defender, but Chelsea and Real Madrid want to lure the player away from France. 

Los Blancos aim to take advantage of the fact that Yoro only has a contract with Lille until 2025. As a result, they want to secure his signing under advantageous economic conditions. 

Diario AS reported on Monday, citing sources close to the player, that Lille aims to fetch around €60 million for their prized asset. Furthermore, the center-back from Lille is Real Madrid’s top choice to strengthen the heart of their defense next summer.

According to the Spanish media outlet, in this race to acquire the promising defender, the La Liga team has an advantage due to the presence of several compatriots.

Yoro’s camp sees this aspect as very important for such a young player to continue his evolution in a locker room where he has teammates who can help him acclimate.

Real Madrid’s strategy is clear: either Lille agrees to negotiate within certain parameters that fit, or they will attempt to keep the player for another season at their club and have him arrive on a free transfer in 2025.
