PSG-Real Madrid UCL Final Would Be the ‘Game of His Life’ for This Star Player

Paris Saint-Germain will face Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League semifinal. Bayern Munich will take on Real Madrid in the other matchup, but some media members want to see the Parisians take on Los Blancos in the final.

The matchup between PSG and Real Madrid will give several media outlets many storylines to talk about. However, the marquee one would be Kylian Mbappé facing the club he’s reportedly set to join as a free agent this summer.

Mbappé is leaving PSG at the end of this season, and many expect him to join Real Madrid. RMC Sport pundit Daniel Riolo explained why he wants to see the French side face Real Madrid.

“Can you imagine a PSG-Real Madrid final?” Riolo said on RMC Sport (h/t Le10Sport). “That would be Mbappé’s moment, where he plays the game of his life and defeats Real Madrid. I’m all for that scenario. He lifts the trophy and says, ‘I’m going to Real.'”

Another Champions League final appearance will allow the 25-year-old to redeem himself after falling short in 2020. Furthermore, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner didn’t have the best performance, as Bayern Munich won the 2020 Champions League final over the Ligue 1 side. 

While many want this final to occur, the two German clubs will aim to prevent this scenario from happening.
