Paris Saint-Germain are gearing up to lose Kylian Mbappé as a free agent this summer, so they could be looking for a replacement. One name in the rumor mill is Napoli standout Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The 23-year-old has made 42 appearances for the Serie A side this season, scoring 10 goals and registering nine assists. As a result, Napoli isn’t willing to allow the player to leave without an expensive sum returning the other way.

According to a recent report, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has set a price tag for the Georgian player under contract until 2027 that will not drop below a whopping €100 million.

Nonetheless, it seems Kvaratskhelia could be open to playing in the French capital. RMC Sports’ Fabrice Hawkins reports that PSG have shown a keen interest in Kvaratskhelia.

The winger seems quite receptive to PSG’s attention, as Parisian officials have already engaged with his representatives. However, as of now, there’s no deal in place with Napoli.

PSG aren’t the only team eyeing the talented forward ahead of the summer window; FC Barcelona are also interested in the Napoli sensation. Manager Xavi Hernandez has specifically asked for a winger who can cause problems on the left side.

The Ligue 1 side aim to beat the Catalan side and has another forward who can help the French giants replace Mbappé for next season.
