Chelsea legend John Terry has reacted to a much improved performance by his beloved football club.

It felt like Mauricio Pochettino and the Chelsea players desperately needed that performance and win against Aston Villa in the FA Cup fourth round replay last night, some might even suggest Pochettino was playing for his future.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea’s Pochettino sacking stance, Plans to review sporting directors after unrest at the very top!

The players stood up, Pochettino made some smart changes and tweaks, and Chelsea beat Aston Villa 3-1 in their own backyard, which is a far from easy thing to do.

Everything looked better, and every player was completely up for it and ready to fight to win. The football played was much better, quicker, more direct, and with so much more energy.

Blues fans were impressed and needed that too, and one of them was former Chelsea captain John Terry, who reacted on X not long after the full time whistle last night.

As cited by TBR Football, Terry posted: “So much better tonight. The movement on and off the ball was excellent, Enzo was superb tonight. Played forward and ran forward which causes problems for defenders.

“Away fans were excellent. Tough run of games coming up but I want to see more of that.”
