Manchester City's desire to win their Champions League group has not diminished.

That is the view of midfielder Matheus Nunes, who spoke to reporters after a 3-0 win over Young Boys.

With Erling Haaland scoring twice and Phil Foden getting one, City were runaway winners to qualify for the next stage.

"We cannot look at those two games as spare because we want to get through as first place," said Nunes to club media post-game.

"And that's what we will try to do.

"We will focus on Chelsea now, but when them games come we will be ready for it.

"We want to win both of them. Every game we try to win. That's how we face every game.

"At home it is amazing because of the fans and away it is always good as well."
