Manchester United shot stopper Andre Onana hinted that he was fortunate to not give away a penalty against Wolves.

The Red Devils started their season with a battling and slightly fortuitous 1-0 win at home against the Premier League minnows.

Despite putting in a good display for most of the game, Onana nearly cost his side two points when he appeared to clatter Wolves' Sasa Kalajdzic in the penalty box in stoppage time.

Asked about the incident, which VAR did review, Onana told reporters: I made the decision and am responsible for everything, there was contact between two big guys."

United appeared to get away with one in the game, with Wolves boss Gary O'Neil furious post-game.

He even stated that PGMOL official Jon Moss told him the decision was a mistake.
