Maccabi Tel Aviv pair Keane and Delap forced to leave Israel

Maccabi Tel Aviv coach Robbie Keane has left Israel.

Keane and assistant manager Rory Delap are now in Greece after flying out from Tel Aviv after yesterday's attacks.

TalkSPORT says the two coaches took refuge in a panic room when the clashes began, in the early hours of Saturday, and hours later managed to leave the region, heading to Greece.

The 43-year-old Irish coach arrived at Maccabi Tel Aviv in June and has won nine of the 13 games played so far in all competitions.

Maccabi Tel Aviv are leaders of the Israeli championship.
