Tim Sherwood selected the combined Arsenal and Tottenham XI ahead of the North London derby this weekend.

Both the teams are in form this season with Spurs unbeaten in the league so far.

Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou have been unrecognizable so far having won their last four games in a row in the Premier League.

They have been playing some of the most attractive football in the league and are full of confidence at the moment.

The midfield trio of Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr and summer signing James Maddison have formed a formidable partnership.

Every single player is putting in solid performances, even those who had been really struggling under Antonio Conte.

However, speaking on the No Tippy Tappy Football Podcast, Tim Sherwood ruled Emerson Royal out of contention fir the combined XI.

Speaking about which right-back would get into his combined XI, he said:

“Pedro Porro, Emerson Royal or Ben White. Porro is good going forwards. It’s not Emerson Royal, let’s rule him out, so it’s Porro or White. I would say Ben White because he can shift over to centre-back.”

Sam Allardyce and Sherwood’s combined NLD XI:

Ramsdale; White, Romero, Saliba, Udogie; Bissouma, Declan Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Son; Jesus

TBH Says:

We might be bias but that’s a terrible take from the two of them.

Pedro Porro is an easy pick for the right back. He perfectly fits into Ange’s style of play and what he may lack defensively he more than makes up with his offensive skills.

And how do you leave out James Maddison? He’s been one of the best players in the Premier League.
