Keane welcomes ex-Liverpool chief Price to Maccabi Tel Aviv

Former Liverpool striker Robbie Keane has added a club staff member to his group at Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The former Republic of Ireland international, who worked with Sam Allardyce at Leeds United last season, was appointed head coach of the Israeli team this summer.

Keane has wasted no time setting up his backroom staff, with Dominic Price joining him.

Per Liverpool Echo, the analyst is very highly rated at the Reds, which makes the move surprising.

He has spent over ten years at the club and been a key aspect of the team's analytical approach to signings and player development.

Price will now be a technical director at Maccabi Tel Aviv for the foreseeable future.
