Former Premier League striker Robbie Keane is moving back to Israel to continue with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Keane fled the Middle East nation on October 7th when they experienced Hamas terrorist attacks.

The former Republic of Ireland striker, who is now 43, was working remotely as Maccabi head coach.

The Israeli Premier League had been suspended, but Maccabi are playing in Europe on neutral soil.

Per The Mail, Keane is happy to return on a permanent basis and has no fears for his safety.

Israel is still at war with Hamas, which means that Keane's situation could change in the near future.
