Young Inter Milan midfielder Giovanni Fabbian might end up joining Lecce on loan next season.

The 20-year-old was one of the most impressive youngsters in Serie B last season. He made 36 appearances for Filippo Inzaghi’s Reggina, contributing with eight goals and an assist.

This summer, he will return to the base where he’ll try to impress another Inzaghi. But for the Nerazzurri manager, the youngster remains too raw, so he’ll have to spend another season on loan before trying to earn himself a place at Appiano Gentile for the 2024/25 campaign.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Beneamata will try to find the Italy U21 starlet a temporary accommodation at another Serie A club. This will be the next step in his growth.

As the source tells it, several clubs have inquired about Fabbian, but Lecce could be the favorites to land the Inter Milan youngster.

The Pink newspaper claims that Giallorossi director Pantaleo Corvino is a keen admirer of the player.
