Former LaLiga ref Eduardo Iturralde Gonzlez insists Vinicius Junior's red card should have stood.

The Real Madrid star was sent off late in defeat at Valencia for slapping Hugo Duro.

But the red card was wiped by the Competition Committee, which claimed the referee was not shown the lead-up video by VAR where Duro had grabbed the Brazilian.

Iturralde Gonzalez told Cadena SER: "There is a big mistake. There is an aggression from Vinicius, but it is a reaction to a previous action. At Real Madrid they say that the images are biased because they do not show all the images. There is one fundamental thing. In the Competition Committee they are analyzing a play with all the images, they have all the material on video from the beginning to the end.

It is no less true that Vinicius attacks Hugo Duro because he has him by the neck. The Competition Committee should have sanctioned Hugo Duro and ratified Vinicius's red card.

"Carmen Prez, the lawyer for the Competition Committee who signs the sanction against Valencia, validates what Real Madrid says and validates that Iglesias Villanueva is a prevaricator. The criminal lawyer is validating a club that calls a referee a prevaricator.

"If a game has to be stopped because of racism, the referees have to stop the league because of the defenselessness they suffer."
