Daley Blind idelighted with move to Girona

Daley Blind is delighted with his move to Girona.

The Dutch veteran has joined Girona as a free agent from Bayern Munich.

At his presentation today, Blind said: "We had good conversations and I was open to being able to come from the beginning. Whenever I'm on the field I'm ambitious and I hope to leave the team in the Primera Division again.

"I've played in many places, as a centre-back, full-back or midfielder and I'm willing to play where the coach puts me. My first impression has been of warmth but, jokes aside, I've felt very good and the sensations are very good on the part of the colleagues. I feel at home.

"I had a good conversation with Mchel, we talked about football and interesting things. We have also talked about the positions in which I can help, depending on the needs. Of course I am willing to play, although that will depend on the coach."
