Celta Vigo coach Giraldez ready for test against Real Betis' Pellegrini

Celta Vigo coach Claudio Giraldez feels ready to test himself against Real Betis' Manuel Pellegrini.

Giraldez is convinced they will go to Betis in good shape.

He said: "(Pellegrini is) a coach who has been in the elite for so long, in such good teams and with always positive results, is because he has a high level, manages the groups very well and is capable of being brave in his approach.

"I was lucky enough to meet him when I was in the Real Madrid youth academy and he coached the first team and all the references I have about him are very good."

Giraldez also said: The good part is that we have had more sessions. We have been with them for a short time and it is always important to have sessions with many people available to work on collective things.

"Unlike the other break, we had more players to work with and it has been good for us, but we all want to compete. It is good that the competition starts as soon as possible and does not stop until the end."
