Cavani admits kids helped make Boca Juniors decision

Edinson Cavani admits his kids convinced him about moving to Boca Juniors.

Cavani terminated his contract at Valencia last week to join Boca in a free transfer.

He said: "There were many things that contributed to generating the desire to be able to come here. I wanted to be close to home and I don't think there is a country similar to mine like the Argentina or a club like Boca. This is a very big responsibility, like I've always had in my career.

"In Valencia I was talking to my children. They opened their eyes when I told them about the possibility of Boca. They knew perfectly what this club represents. We came traveling, singing a song, sensing what they can find here. The fact that they are here, that they see what the club is and its size and that they can experience it will be indelible.

"I will meet the coaching staff and the best decision will be made for what is to come. These are the first hours in Buenos Aires and in this house. Little by little, I will start talking to all the people of the club to take the better decisions."
