Burnley boss Vincent Kompany is convinced by their young players.

The Clarets resume their Premier League campaign against Newcastle on Saturday.

On 18-year-old French winger Wilson Odobert, the manager said: "It's a matter of time [until he gets a start in the league].

"One of the things I've been able to do as a manager is see the start of a lot of talents, that has been a feature of my career since I started management.

"It could be next week, next month or six weeks time. It's just a matter of time though.

"At his age, it's easy to say he's a good player and he has already played football in Ligue 1. If you watch his habits then he's a good professional."

Kompany also said of Anass Zaroury: "He's a talented player so, of course, we think he will have an impact, but it has been a jump in quality coming to the Premier League.

"We've spoken about what are the important things for him to bring to the game. He's on the right path and he's going to be a player with a part to play."
