The Minnesota Wild have been hit hard by COVID-19 and the league's protocol in recent weeks, and their luck didn't change on Thursday.
According to The Athletic , Minnesota forwards Mats Zuccarello and Rem Pitlick have been added to the NHL's COVID-19 protocol. Zuccarello currently leads the team with seven points on three goals and four assists and has played in each of the team's first six games.
Pitlick made his season debut during the Wild's 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday and had one assist. Per Michael Russo of The Athletic, both players will be tested over the next two days.
They will test the next two days to see if results come back negative. If they remain positive, they have to isolate for 10 days and be symptom free before beginning activity again. All close contacts tested 7 straight days https://t.co/J0k6GnIL8V

Additionally, assistant coaches Darby Hendrickson, Frederic Chabot and T.J. Jindra were away from the team.
