Two bets for New York Rangers vs. Carolina Hurricanes Game 7

We have just one game left before the Conference Finals begin in the Stanley Cup playoffs, with the New York Rangers head back to Carolina to take on the Hurricanes in Game 7.

This series has been back-and-forth, but one constant has remained, which is what guides our betting choice for Monday night's game.

SGP: Carolina ML and under 6.5 goals (+135 DK)

The constant referenced is that of the home team winning. The team on their home ice has won all six games this series, which is the exact same thing that occurred in Carolina's opening series against the Boston Bruins.

The Hurricanes are now 7-0 at home and 0-6 on the road, and it isn't just the winning and losing that shifts with the locations.

Carolina has averaged 3.57 goals per game at home, contrasted with only 1.67 when on the road. The Rangers themselves have interesting home/road splits as well, averaging two less goals per game when skating as the visitor.

The true disparity comes when looking at Carolina's goals allowed. On the road they've let up 4.33 goals per game, but at home, where they are tonight, only 1.14, the lowest mark of all postseason teams.

So, we're following this trend Monday night, but with the Hurricanes' moneyline a bit juiced, we're building a Same Game Parlay on DraftKings that adds in an alternate total.

The over/under is set at 5.5, and Game 6 (a 5-2 Rangers win) was the first time the over hit. I believe the standard under will cover, as no game in Carolina in this series has exceeded four total scores.

With the belief of goal-scoring from the Carolina end, I want a piece of their offense, and Teuvo Teravainen has been steady at home along with their success.

Teravainen, a member of the Hurricanes top line, has a point in every single home game this postseason. He has 10 total in seven games at home and a point in nine straight home games overall.

He's also had a nice season against the Rangers, with a point in seven of 10 meetings. Load me up this points prop at very solid odds to give us an individual to pull for Monday night.
