NHL playoff bets: Two SOG props for Game 5 of Dallas-Vegas

It's nice that we have at least one Game 5 in the NHL Conference Final! With both teams well-motivated to win we can take advantage with a pair of Shots on Goal props from two of the most important players on the ice.

Jack Eichel over 3.5 SOG (+110 Barstool)

Jack Eichel finished Game 4 with 7 SOG, his highest shot total of the series and the most we've seen from him since Round 1.

He seems to be a very likely candidate to keep that volume flowing back at home. In Vegas, Eichel has been far steadier, going over 3.5 SOG in four of his last five, averaging 4.2 SOG/game.

Eichel has 14 SOG the last three times Dallas has come to town, and he leads the Golden Knights in shots on goal at home this postseason with 27.

At the end of the day, this is a bet on one of Vegas' most pivotal players on the offensive end delivering a big game to secure their spot in the Stanley Cup Final.

Jason Robertson over 3.5 SOG (-105 MGM)

We took a chance on Jason Robertson here in Game 4 and wow did he deliver. He ended up finishing the game with 11 SOG and two goals, so I have no choice but to run him back tonight.

It was the most spirited effort we've seen from Robertson this postseason, and it coincided with a Dallas win. He was ripping shots early and often and making things happen, and considering it helped the Stars grab a game it feels like a safe bet to expect an encore performance.

Robertson has now tallied an absurd 24 shot attempts over his past two games. Let's give him another go.
