Raiders lose to Colts in Jeff Saturday's debut thanks to porous defense

The Raiders need to plug holes in their porous defense because it's sinking their season.

Despite facing a team led by Colts interim head coach Jeff Saturday, who had no prior NFL coaching experience, the Raiders still lost 25-20.

The defensive performance was responsible for the defeat. The Raiders allowed 415 yards of total offense, including a 35-yard Paris Campbell scoring scamper late in the fourth quarter. This play crushed their hopes.

The Raiders' defense caused several crumbles this season. It allows 370 yards per game, ranking near the bottom of the league. Even though Indianapolis played well, its offense isn't stellar. It ranks 27th in the league.

Las Vegas is 2-7. It's unlikely that they will make a late-season playoff run.
