The Kansas City Chiefs are greatly set up to have the first-ever three-peat in NFL history. They have brought back the majority of players needed to make another run, and have plenty of draft capital to bring in some good young players.
If the draft goes well, the Chiefs will have a legitimate shot at going for the three-peat in terms of roster construction. Their biggest need may be a wide receiver, and things seem to be trending in that direction for the Chiefs' first-round pick.
If the Chiefs grab an elite wide receiver in the first round, or just in the draft in general, it could be scary for the rest of the league, and one national analyst seems to think that's exactly what will happen.
"Ladd McConkey to the Chiefs; it's not fair," Adam Schein said on CBS Sports. "It's going to happen, and he's going to catch 100 balls. He's going to have this unbelievable Puka Nacua kind of rookie season. And the Chiefs are going to find a way to win the Super Bowl, even though you have people like me picking against them."

McConkey is the 34th overall prospect in the draft and the seventh overall wide receiver on our big board.
Here are some of his strengths and weaknesses and what the Chiefs would be getting if they did draft him:
STRENGTHS
- Shifty & precise route runner at all levels of the field
- Uses physical hands & quick footwork to create leverage vs press
- Manipulates corners with headfakes & stutter steps
- Minimal stall sinking his hips & cutting off routes on the vertical plane
- Sharp hip-sink & sudden acceleration on stop-go routes
- Midpoints zone coverage defenders & runs routes at proper depth
- Good speed to stack coverage early & extend separation
- Leans away from his break to influence CBs into early hip-turns
- Elusive after the catch, but minimal unnecessary dancing
- Gives consistent effort as a run blocker
WEAKNESSES
- Below average size/frame
- Small catch radius will cap his effectiveness in the middle of the field
- Only 2 career 100+ yard games
- Struggled to stay healthy at Georgia
- Steep dropoff in route efficiency if the CB is in phase
- Was mostly given free releases, so press experience is limited
- Will need to be protected from difficult blocking assignments
- Bigger CBs can interrupt his release if they land a punch
The Chiefs need another wide receiver even with the Hollywood Bfrowns signing. With the Rashee Rice situation, it's best they go ahead and snag another wide receiver. McConkey has the potential to be elite in his first year, especially with the best QB in the league throwing him the ball.
