Lions’ Aidan Hutchinson robbed of history-making sack by official scoring decision

Detroit Lions pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson temporarily was the first NFL player since Bryce Paup to record 20 sacks and four interceptions in any two-season span, but the sack that Hutchinson had in the game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday was changed to a tackle for a loss in the official scoring.

Luckily, Hutchinson did eventually get that sack he needed later in the game against the Vikings.

Regardless, it has been an impressive start for Aidan Hutchinson in the first two years of his career, and he has been a vital part of the Lions turning it around over the last two seasons to become a contender in the NFC. It will be interesting to see how the Lions and Hutchinson fare in the playoffs starting next week, when they will play a home game due to winning the NFC North for the first time ever.

The Lions organization and fans have been craving a winner, and it appears they finally have one. Hutchinson is a fan favorite, playing at Michigan in college and staying in the state with the Lions.

Against the Vikings, the Lions are playing for potential seeding. It is unlikely, but Detroit could get the No. 2 seed with a win and the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles losing.

It is unlikely that both the Cowboys and Eagles get upset, but just incase, the Lions are playing to win. After the game, Detroit will await the rest of the results from Sunday to see who they will match up with on wild card weekend.
