Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is no stranger to mixing things up with players from the NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys.
However, after a video went viral of him seemingly yelling in the face of Cowboys linebacker Damone Clark on Sunday, Kelce decided to clear the air and dispel any misconceptions about what actually went on in the clip.
“I actually wasn’t screaming,” Kelce said on the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast. “I was laughing as loud as I could in his face.”
Kelce actually demonstrated — rather hilariously — the sounds he made while carrying on at Clark’s expense.

The exchange happened after a play in the second quarter of Philly’s 28-23 win on Sunday in which Kelce can be seen grabbing Clark by the jersey and unleashing a fury of noise right in his face.
Many on social media believed Kelce’s actions in the video to be worse than it actually was. Some stated they thought Kelce lost his temper for a moment and took out some suppressed frustration on the closest Cowboys player, while others thought Kelce was simply trying to get under the skin of a division rival.
“Yeah, I don’t know what happened,” Kelce added. “I kind of blacked out.”
The Eagles ultimately won the game, stopping Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb just shy of the goal line and forcing a game-ending fumble. The two teams will meet again a little over four weeks from now in Dallas on “Sunday Night Football.”
