Chris Godwin is one of the biggest names in this year's crop of free agents. The 24-year-old has emerged as one of the best young receivers in the game and will certainly receive some massive offers from teams hoping to convince him to come and play for them.
Will Godwin prioritize money over the best fit? In an interview with Pat McAfee, Godwin said that he is of course looking to get paid but also wants to end up in a situation where he will be happy.
"The goal obviously is to get paid right but I'm not stupid. I'm not going to put myself in a situation where I'm going to be miserable for some years to come just for a couple extra dollars"

It's an interesting perspective from Godwin, who seems to understand that solely chasing money will not be worth it if he ends up on a team that brings him nothing but misery. The big question seems to be: Could Godwin end up back with the Buccaneers? It's certainly possible, though Tampa Bay has a long list of free agents to consider to keep the Super Bowl champs on top.
