Chandler Jones shows off wild tattoo tribute to his 'spiritual wife'
Chandler Jones Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Chandler Jones has gotten some interesting tattoos recently, but it appears the former Las Vegas Raiders star has outdone himself.

Jones was a guest on the latest episode of the “JAXXON Podcast,” which was released on Saturday. During the interview, Jones decided to show off a tattoo that he has on his right forearm. The tattoo says the name Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo, who is an R&B singer and songwriter.

Jones said Chilombo is his “spiritual wife” and that he has never met her or communicated with her. Despite that, Jones felt he had a strong enough connection to her that he should get a tattoo of her name on his arm.

Chilombo has been dating rapper Big Sean for quite some time. The two have a child together. Jones may know all that, but he still considers Chilombo to be his spiritual wife, whatever that means.

Jones had issues with the Raiders over the offseason. He unloaded on the team in a strange Instagram tirade before the season. He claimed the Raiders had locked him out of the team facility and were trying to “provoke” him. Jones had also claimed that he was taken to a mental health facility against his will. He shared some hand-written letters he had written from the facility.

Jones did not play at all this past season. The 33-year-old had 38 total tackles, four and a half sacks and three fumble recoveries in 15 games with the Raiders last season. He has made four Pro Bowls during his career — one with the New England Patriots in 2015 and three with the Arizona Cardinals (2017, 2019, 2021).
