Bailey Zappe says what everyone's thinking about Patriots-Bills rivalry
Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

FOXBOROUGH, Mass - Despite their tumultuous season, the New England Patriots have had a few high points this season. And one of those was their win over the Buffalo Bills at Gillette Stadium in October.

However, now they have to head to Highmark Stadium and face the Bills once again, but this time in front of Buffalo fans.

On Wednesday, Bailey Zappe opened up about how he is feeling ahead of this matchup against the Patriots AFC divisional foes.

"It's going to be exciting," Zappe told reporters. "These two teams, these two organizations have been going at it for a long time. I don't think there's any – I don't think either one like each other very well. So, it's going to be fun to get out there and play against that great team and that great organization. It's going to be fun. That's what football is all about."

Bills Mafia are some of the craziest fans in the National Football League and they will be fired up on Sunday as Buffalo hopes to clinch a playoff spot. The first step will be for them to get the win.

"I mean, they get after it. They love football. They love their Bills," Zappe said. "So, it's going to be loud."

Zappe and the Patriots will go in, hoping to knock the Bills down a peg after their big wins over the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, and Los Angeles Chargers in the past three weeks. And he broke down what they will need to do in order to get the victory.

"It's going to come down to communication for us," he explained. "So, that's going to be a big part and a big emphasis for us throughout this week."

The game will kick off at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

"You want to go in and play some tough teams. Winning of course makes it a lot better. Of course, this is going to be another great environment to play in," Zappe said. "Like I said these two teams of course don't like each other. It's a great rivalry so just got to go in there and play our brand of football.
