Pascal Siakam was once again named a finalist for Eastern Conference Player of the Week this past week.
The Indiana Pacers forward has been a nominee for the award three times now since being dealt to the blue and gold — once in January, once in February, and now in March. He has also been a Player of the Month finalist twice.
This time, the Player of the Week title was given to the player in each conference that had the best performances in games played between March 4 and 10. In the Eastern Conference, DeMar DeRozan was the winner. He averaged 29.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game in that span, and his Chicago Bulls went 3-1. Luka Doncic was the winner in the West.

West: Anthony Davis (LAL), Kevin Durant (PHX), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC), Trey Murphy III and Zion Williamson (NOP), and Anfernee Simons (POR)
East: Jarrett Allen (CLE), Dejounte Murray (ATL), Pascal Siakam (IND) and Coby White (CHI) https://t.co/bGONvPTSXN
During that time frame, Indiana went 2-1. They took down both Dallas and Orlando on the road, though their home loss to Minnesota was crushing. Still, Siakam had good performances during the week.
The veteran forward averaged 19.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game in that stretch. The Pacers outscored their opponent with Siakam on the floor in all three games, and he knocked down 46.7% of his shots. Siakam's rebounding, especially on the offensive glass, stood out. But he was effective all week long.
"He's a very well-rounded player and he's a great fit for Indiana," Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic said of Siakam the week prior.
The two-time All-NBA forward now has 24 games under his belt with Indiana, and he's averaging 20.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in total. The Pacers are 12-12 with Siakam in the lineup.
Indiana will try to improve that record, and Siakam will look to keep rolling, tomorrow night when the blue and gold battle the Thunder in Oklahoma City.
