Zach Remillard Cranks First Career MLB Home Run
Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

What a season it has been for Chicago White Sox rookie Zach Remillard. The 29-year-old received the call to the majors in June and made an immediate impact in his  MLB Debut on June 17. Since then, Remillard has been a rather consistent piece in the White Sox lineup, receiving plenty of playing time.

Adding to his career firsts, Remillard left the yard for the first time on Sunday, taking Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Bailey Ober deep to left field in the third inning.

The White Sox second baseman followed up his long ball by driving in the third run of the game for the Pale Hose in the fifth inning giving him his second RBI of the afternoon.

Remillard entered Sunday slashing .299/.365/.364 in 26 games this season with the White Sox.
