What's up with the Rockies' bizarre scoreboard message?

Ahead of Wednesday's matchup between the Colorado Rockies and Houston Astros, a bizarre message on the Coors Field scoreboard addressed to "Becky" began to make the rounds through social media, leaving many puzzled.

Shortly before the game's first pitch, Suzie Hunter of DNVR Sports shared a photo of the scoreboard "Game Note," which, instead of featuring the usual gameday fact or trivia, sounded more like the cries of a lover scorned. After detailing the functions of a stethoscope, the scoreboard message takes a hard left turn.

"Don't bother asking him to check YOUR heart though, Becky. That crushed Titanic sub has more life inside it than that collapsed troll cave you call chest cavity," the scoreboard read.

Who is Becky? And why is she such a heartless tramp? The answer is there is no Becky. Probably.

Wednesday's cryptic message wasn't the first to find its way onto the Rockies' scoreboard this season, and, for the sake of us all, hopefully, it won't be the last.

Whoever runs the Rockies' scoreboard is either an intense thinker, has a warped sense of humor, or both, as they've been at this game for a while.

Baseball fans might only be catching up, but we'll surely pay greater attention now. No, pressure, Rockies' scoreboard message operator guy or gal.
