MLB Playoff picks: Best bets for Phillies vs. Diamondbacks NLCS Game 6

The Philadelphia Phillies nearly let the NLCS slip out of their fingertips at Chase Field, but they bounced back in Game 5 to bring a 3-2 series lead back to Citizens Bank Park. Philadelphia will be rolling with Aaron Nola in Game 6, while the Arizona Diamondbacks will counter with Merrill Kelly for the second time in this series. 

Will the Phillies be able to close out their second straight NLCS title in Game 6, or do the D-Backs have enough to force a decisive Game 7? Let's find out. 

Phillies -1.5 (+115 FanDuel)

The Phillies should've wrapped up this series before six games, but some untimely bullpen blunders and questionable decisions by manager Rob Thomson let the Diamondbacks back in the NLCS. Hopefully, Thomson has learned not to trust Craig Kimbrel, who gave up four earned runs over two appearances in Arizona.

This is also a play on the magic that is Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies are 6-0 at home in the postseason, and they've covered the -1.5 run line in all six games. Philadelphia outscored Arizona, 15-3, at home in the first two games of the NLCS, and we're expecting a similar result with Nola back on the mound.

In five career home playoff starts, Nola is 4-1 with three shutout performances. He's given up just 12 hits and two earned runs over his 18.2 innings pitched this postseason, and he's ready to bring this series home.

Kyle Schwarber to hit a home run (+320 DraftKings)

Schwarber is as hot and cold of a hitter as they come in MLB, and when he's hot, he's a nightmare for opposing pitchers to face. The Phillies slugger has cracked five home runs over the last five games of this series, and he took Kelly yard in his first start of the NLCS. 

If DraftKings is going to give us +320 on a scorching hot Schwarber facing a right-handed pitcher for at least two at-bats, we're gong to take it every time.
