Ahead of Sunday morning's finale in Minnesota, the Angels announced a slew of roster moves. First, corner infielder Mike Moustakas returns from the injured list after missing time with a forearm issue. He joins the roster along with journeyman pitcher Carson Fullmer who will be pitching at the big league level for the first time since 2021 when he gets into a game.
In corresponding moves, Mike Trout was transferred to the 60-day IL, ending his comeback bid for the 2023 season. The move opened up a 40-man roster spot for Fulmer. Additionally, Tyler Anderson landed on the 15-day IL and C.J. Cron on the 10-day, ending both of their seasons as well.
