Former Dodgers Outfielder Signs With NL East Squad on MiLB Deal

Former Dodgers outfielder David Dahl has agreed to sign a minor-league deal with the Philadelphia Phillies. The New York Post's Joel Sherman was the one to announce the agreement.

Dahl spent time in the Dodgers organization last season, playing in 54 games with Triple-A Oklahoma City. He hit .282 with eight home runs and 39 runs batted in but never saw any time with the big league team.

Prior to joining Los Angeles, Dahl spent time with the San Diego Padres. He only played in four games before suffering a quad injury.

He has struggled to produce over the last few seasons, but the Phillies are hopeful that he can regain his form. Dahl was an All-Star in 2019, hitting .302 with 15 homers and 61 runs batted in for the Colorado Rockies.

The former first-round pick is a career .271 hitter with 43 home runs and 161 runs batted in.
