The Houston Astros are going to be without Jose Altuve for at least a little while, but it won't necessarily affect their team after the way he's played this season.
Houston placed its star second baseman on the 10-day injured list on Saturday with a right knee sprain retroactive to Friday.

The 30-year-old suffered the injury while sliding into third base early in Thursday's game against the Texas Rangers. He underwent an MRI on Friday to determine the extent of the injury.
Altuve is in the midst of his worst campaign in the majors, slashing .224/.284/.322 with three home runs and 12 RBI.
The six-time All-Star joins Alex Bregman and Yordan Alvarez on the injured list along with Justin Verlander and Roberto Osuna.
