Andrew Benintendi to Miss Second Straight Game on Sunday
Nick Turchiaro-USA TODAY Sports

Benintendi missed Saturday's ballgame after being hit by a pitch on Friday.

Chicago White Sox left fielder Andrew Benintendi will miss his second straight game on Sunday afternoon. Gavin Sheets will man left field in his stead.

Benintendi was hit in the elbow by a pitch Friday but remained in the game despite looking to be in a world of pain. The left fielder was not in Saturday's lineup.

White Sox manager Pedro Grifol told reporters Saturday that x-rays on Benintendi's elbow came back negative and he could return to the lineup as early as Sunday. That will not be the case, as Sheets will get the start in left field for the series finale.

The White Sox will look to end an embarrassing 10-game losing streak that has put them at the bottom of AL Central standings. Here is a look at the White Sox lineup for Sunday's series finale.
