Brentford boss Thomas Frank was delighted with victory over Burnley.

The Bees cruised to a 3-0 win on Saturday thanks to goals from Yoan Wissa, Saman Ghoddos and Bryan Mbeumo.

It was a good performance again," Frank began. Actually, it was a top, top performance first half. That was us, especially at home.

The energy, top intensity, winning the ball back, one attack after another, going behind them, crosses we were really, really on it.

It's rare that I say we should have been 3-0 up at half-time, but we should have. It was our best half of the season."

Frank continued: Second half, until we scored to make it 2-0, it was more even. It's always difficult to play 90 perfect minutes, but the first 45 was close to perfect. But we should aim for it and try to do better.

The 2-0 goal killed it, and we got a well-deserved win, and our first win at home, which is so important.

The first goal was fantastic: we win it back high, Neal plays Bryan, then under to Wissa who scores.

The second goal was also a fantastic goal, and then the third goal from Saman was goal of the day."
