The director behind Walk the Line, Logan and Le Mans '66 , is bringing the story of the legendary Bob Dylan to the big screen, and cameras are finally rolling after years of delays.

A Complete Unknown follows Timothée Chalamet as a young Bob Dylan who shakes up the folk music scene following his electric guitar set at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival.

Recent developments arose on the long-awaited biopic explaining that cameras were ready to roll this month, and now the first images from set have hit social media.

Chalamet was seen, guitar case in hand, on the streets of New York with director James Mangold.

As expected, a range of reactions followed.

Chalamet was the popular choice a few years ago, but now people are buzzing about the new-on-the-scene actor Dominic Sessa, who recently made his debut in The Holdovers.

People believe Sessa should've been cast in the role, fitting the title A Complete Unknown more aptly.

Nonetheless, filming is underway, but a release date is yet to be unveiled.
