Why the LSU Tigers Should Recruit Cameron Ward
Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Since announcing his decision to transfer December 1st, former Washington State quarterback Cameron Ward has been a hot commodity with major schools such as Miami, Florida State, and most recently it has been rumored that USC is looking to land the highly coveted quarterback.

There’s another team I think should be looking to recruit him: the LSU Tigers. With Heisman trophy winner Jayden Daniels heading to the NFL draft, there’s an opening at that quarterback position, and  Cameron would be a perfect fit there.

Seeing how Jayden Daniels transformed and blossomed in Brian Kelly’s offense after transferring from Arizona State, I think Cameron can achieve the same success there.

He has Jayden Daniels type qualities and abilities. He has a rocket arm and make all the throws. His timing and anticipation could still use a little work, but it did improve this season.

He’s not as fast as Jayden, but is capable of making plays with his feet, though Cam is more likely to stay in the pocket.

I don’t know if he has visited LSU or plans to, but I think they need to reach out to him. I think the town would go nuts, so to speak, if they added him, and he’s the perfect replacement for Jayden Daniels.
