James only started in six games through her first two seasons at North Carolina State. However, she broke out this season, earning first-team All-ACC honors.
Through three games in the tournament, she's averaging 23.3 points per game and shooting 50 percent from the field. If she stays in the groove, she could help North Carolina State make the Final Four for the first time since 1998. The No. 3 seed Wolfpack will face No. 1 seed Texas or No. 4 seed Gonzaga in the Elite Eight on Sunday.
