Melvin, Cora in running to become next Brewers manager
Bob Melvin and Joey Cora are among the finalists to become the next manager of the Milwaukee Brewers, major-league sources told FOXSports.com on Saturday.
Brewers general manager Doug Melvin told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that there are four finalists for the job.
Melvin, a professional scout with the New York Mets this year, has major-league managerial experience with Seattle and Arizona.
Cora, the Chicago White Sox bench coach, has long been regarded as a future big-league manager.
